Visit 1 : Iberdrola Training Centre

A visit at Iberdrola Campus/Educational Centre in San Agustín de Guadalix (25 minutes from the conference venue) will be organized on 7 June. 

Departure at 09:00 am from the conference centre (IFEMA) , transportation provided. Return at IFEMA by 13:00 hrs. 

Programme : 

Presentation of Iberdrola Group and Training policy in Iberdrola Distribución Elecrica.

Training facilities visit:

  • Primary substations training facilities
  • Secondary substations training facilities
  • Virtual training;  substation demo
  • Smart metering training facilities
  • Smart grid training facilities.
  • Outside installations visit. Technical demonstrators.

 

Due to “corporate” security procedures Iberdrola requests a copy of ID document (including full name, nationality and document number)

Visit limited to 50 seats.

Visit 2: LCOE Tecnogetafe

A visit at LCOE (Laboratorio Central Oficial de Electrotecnia) Tecnogetafe and Getafe 1 premises (35 minutes from the conference venue) will be organized on 7 June. 

Departure at 09:00 am from the conference centre (IFEMA), transportation provided. Return at IFEMA around 14:15 hrs (departure from Getafe scheduled at 13:30 hrs) . 

Programme :

The High Voltage Technological Centre of the FFII-LCOE is configured as a supporting tool for the industry and for the R&D activity in the electrical sector, in either of their several fields of action.
Our High Voltage Laboratory has two testing halls, the High Voltage one and the Medium Voltage one together with a climatic chamber sized. The High Voltage hall has a power frequency generator up to 1 MV, and an impulse generator up to 2.4 MV. The Medium Voltage hall is divided in several testing areas, where it is possible to perform power frequency tests up to 150 kV, lightning impulse tests up to 400 kV, ratio and phase measurements on instrument transformers, partial discharge measurements in a Faraday cage, and performance tests over power transformers.

 

Visit limited to 30 seats. 

Registration

Registration for technical visits has to be made during the conference registration process. It is an extra cost of 60 euros (transportation included). It is not possible to take part if you are not a conference participant. 

Seats are limited and will be attributed on a strict first come first served basis. 

Technical visits registration fees are non refundable. 

As available seats are limited, we inform participants that no-shows will be listed.
